- ¾ cup Brown Sugar (packed)

- 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Flaky Sea Salt (for topping, optional)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients with butter and eggs at room temperature.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat softened butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth, then gradually add granulated and brown sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Slowly incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool cookies slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a richer flavor, try dark chocolate chips or add chopped nuts. These cookies can also be served as ice cream sandwiches.
