Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag chai tea
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally to avoid scorching.
  2. When the milk is steaming, add the chai tea bag and steep for around five minutes, then remove the tea bag.
  3. Whisk in the vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves until well combined. Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
