- 1 cup Dark chocolate (melted)
- 1 package Ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup Fresh strawberries (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, melted dark chocolate, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Lay a single layer of ladyfinger cookies at the bottom of your serving dish. Optional: briefly dip the ladyfingers in a hot water and sugar mix for a softer texture.
- Spread half of the chocolate mixture evenly over the ladyfinger layer, then repeat with another layer of ladyfingers followed by the remaining chocolate mixture.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least four hours or until set. Before serving, garnish with fresh strawberries.
Notes
Consider folding in espresso powder for a mocha flavor or swapping whipped cream for lighter coconut cream for a healthier version.
