Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup water
- 3 to 4 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon butter extract
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- 1 splash sugar cookie syrup
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar cookie syrup
- 7 ounces milk (oat, almond, or your choice)
- 2 shots espresso
- Ice
- Sugar cookie cold foam
- Sprinkles
Instructions
- Start brewing your espresso. Two shots should do the trick to bring out the rich, bold flavors.
- In a saucepan, heat the water and dark brown sugar until dissolved, creating a simple syrup. Stir in the vanilla, butter, and almond extracts as well as the splash of sugar cookie syrup. Let it simmer on low for a couple of minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Froth the heavy cream and sugar cookie syrup together until you have a light cold foam. Mix in your milk of choice, pouring it over ice, then pour the espresso mixture on top. Finally, add the cold foam on top and finish it off with colorful sprinkles for that extra festive touch!
