A delightful blend of creamy cream cheese and sweet strawberry jam wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a teaspoon of softened cream cheese and a teaspoon of strawberry jam in the center of each square, then fold the corners to the center and pinch to seal.
  4. Brush the tops with beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
