- 1 box Chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cups Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish well.
- In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until well combined, then pour this mixture into your prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the cake batter, then use a knife to gently swirl it in. Top with the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups before baking.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Swirl carefully for the best texture. For a different twist, use almond butter.
