Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until well combined, then pour this mixture into your prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the cake batter, then use a knife to gently swirl it in. Top with the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups before baking.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Swirl carefully for the best texture. For a different twist, use almond butter.
