  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (optional)
  • 1 Egg (optional, for wash)
  • Toppings of choice (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel by poking a hole in the center and gently stretching it.
  5. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. (Optional) Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with your choice of toppings.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with a non-dairy alternative. These bagels stay fresh in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
