- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mash your bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
- Add the peanut butter, coconut sugar, applesauce, almond milk, oats, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix well until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-28 minutes or until the center is set but still soft.
- Cool for 30-60 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 hour before slicing.
Notes
Chill bars before cutting for neater slices. Optionally swap almond milk for any dairy milk.
