Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter and sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in orange juice and zest.
  4. Gradually sift in flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Store at room temperature for 3 to 4 days or freeze for 1 to 2 months. For lighter options, substitute sugar with natural sweeteners and flour with whole wheat or gluten-free flour.
