Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cane sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling four cups of water in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and add the green tea leaves, stirring well. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Add fresh mint leaves to the mixture and steep for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture into a pitcher and add sugar while still warm, stirring until fully dissolved. Serve over ice and garnish with extra mint leaves.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute cane sugar with honey. Store in the refrigerator for up to five days.
