Ingredients
Scale
- 300 g Cold whipping cream
- 30 g Powdered sugar
- 150 g Thick plain yogurt (e.g., Greek yogurt)
- 10 g Gelatin sheets
- 30 g Hot milk (any fat percentage)
- 180 g Thick strawberry sauce or jam
- Extra strawberry sauce for topping, to taste
- 4 Fresh strawberries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the gelatin by soaking the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 5 minutes until softened. Drain them, then dissolve them in the hot milk, stirring until fully melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the cold whipping cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form.
- Mix the thick yogurt and the slightly cooled gelatin mixture in another bowl. Stir until well combined.
- Fold the whipped cream into the yogurt mixture until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved.
- To create the strawberry layer, mix the thick strawberry sauce or jam with a little whipped cream if desired.
- Begin to assemble your cups by spooning a layer of the mousse mixture into the bottom of each serving glass.
- Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a layer of mousse on top.
- Allow the assembled cups to chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set before serving.
Notes
Ensure to fully dissolve the gelatin for a smooth texture. Use quality whipping cream for the best results.
