- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 2 Tablespoons Lavender Petals
Instructions
- Measure the sugar and water into a pot and place it over low heat. Stir to combine and dissolve.
- Once the sugar is fully dissolved, turn off the heat and stir in the lavender petals. Cover the pot and let it steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
- After steeping, strain the lavender petals from the syrup using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. The syrup is now ready to use!
Notes
Don’t over-steep it. Consider sweetener alternatives like honey or maple syrup.
