A refreshing twist on classic lemonade with a floral lavender flavor, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Dried culinary lavender
  • Ice, as needed
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let steep for about 15 minutes.
  2. Strain the lavender syrup into a bowl, discarding the leftover flowers and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. Combine the cooled lavender syrup with 1 cup of fresh lemon juice and 3 cups of cold water in a large pitcher. Stir until thoroughly mixed and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Fill glasses with ice and pour the Lavender Lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with a few slices of lemon.

Notes

Let the lavender steep longer for a stronger flavor. Use honey instead of sugar for natural sweetness.
