- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
- Slices of lemon for garnish
- Ice cubes as needed
Instructions
- Begin by boiling 4 cups of water in a large pot. Once it comes to a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and carefully add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes.
- After the 5 minutes, remove the tea bags from the pot. Stir in the granulated sugar while the tea is still warm.
- Next, add in the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the sweetened tea and mix well. Pour your mixture over ice in a pitcher and garnish with lemon slices.
Notes
Use fresh lemons for the best taste and consider swapping sugar for honey for added flavor.
