Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
  • Slices of lemon for garnish
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling 4 cups of water in a large pot. Once it comes to a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and carefully add the 4 black tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. After the 5 minutes, remove the tea bags from the pot. Stir in the granulated sugar while the tea is still warm.
  3. Next, add in the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the sweetened tea and mix well. Pour your mixture over ice in a pitcher and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for the best taste and consider swapping sugar for honey for added flavor.
