- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup of fresh water and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a medium saucepan. Stir gently to mix.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract. Allow to cool before transferring to a glass bottle.
Notes
Use pure vanilla extract for the best flavor. Experiment with flavors by adding spices or different types of sugar.
