Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate chips
  • 2 large Eggs

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  5. Use a cookie cutter to shape the cookies into hearts and place them on the baking tray with space to spread.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers appear soft.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
