- 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- ¾ cup Brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
- 2 large Eggs
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Use a cookie cutter to shape the cookies into hearts and place them on the baking tray with space to spread.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers appear soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
