- 1 cup Peanut butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 Large egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, flattening each ball with a fork. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Do not overbake to retain a chewy texture. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can help maintain cookie shape.
