  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a bundt pan by greasing and flouring it.
  2. Cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and melted semi-sweet chocolate until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped pecans. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack. Let it cool completely before slicing.
