- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
- To taste Sugar for coating
- To taste Cinnamon for coating
Instructions
- In a small pot, mix water, sugar, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until the dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then add vanilla. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Scoop dough into small balls and place them in the air fryer basket, sprayed with cooking spray.
- Air fry for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll churro bites in the mixture while they are still warm. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a tropical flavor, use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. Roll the churro bites in sugar while they’re warm for the best coating.
