Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 7 Egg whites

- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
- Fruits (optional), for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the egg whites, cream of tartar, and vanilla. Whip until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar, whipping until stiff peaks are reached.
- Carefully fold in the flour until just combined, then pour the batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and cool upside-down.
- For the molten chocolate filling, heat heavy cream until simmering, then stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour into the cooled cake’s center.
- Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh fruits if desired.
Notes
You can substitute granulated sugar for coconut sugar for a healthier version, or use aquafaba instead of egg whites for a vegan option.
