Delightful cinnamon roll bites that are quick and easy to make, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tsp (90 ml) milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 12 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/21 tsp milk for glaze
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the milk and vanilla together in a separate bowl, then pour this mixture into the dry ingredients gradually.
  4. Roll the dough on a floured surface into a 10-inch log and cut it into 20 small pieces.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cut pieces and toss gently to coat them.
  6. Combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl and pour it over the buttered dough pieces, tossing to coat.
  7. Arrange the coated pieces in the prepared loaf pan, snug but not overcrowded.
  8. Bake for 9-10 minutes or until lightly golden and fluffy.
  9. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, a splash of milk, and vanilla extract until drizzle-friendly.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the bites and serve warm.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute dairy milk with almond or oat milk.
