- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray to taste
Instructions
- Combine diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl until the apples are well coated.
- Place a small amount of the apple mixture onto each tortilla and roll them tightly.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the taquitos seam-side down.
- Lightly spray the tops of the taquitos with cooking spray.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and air fry the taquitos for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle this mixture over the warm taquitos.
- Serve the taquitos warm, drizzled with vanilla extract if desired.
Notes
Spray taquitos to achieve maximum crispiness. For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
