Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
- 2 cups Granulated sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 pound Fresh strawberries (hulled)
- 8 ounces Semisweet chocolate (chopped)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the granulated sugar until combined.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before whisking in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gradually add it to the egg mixture.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the dish.
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just boils, then pour over the chopped chocolate in a bowl and stir until smooth to create the ganache.
- Dip hulled strawberries into the chocolate ganache and place them on a wire rack to set.
- Top the cooled brownies with chocolate-covered strawberries and drizzle any leftover ganache over them before serving.
Notes
Let brownies cool completely before adding strawberries. For a richer ganache, use dark chocolate.
