- 1 cup Brewed Tea
- ½ cup Cherry Juice (or Fresh Cherries, Pitted)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1-2 tsp Honey or Sugar (to taste)
- ½ cup Milk (or a Plant-Based Alternative)
- As needed Ice Cubes (for Iced Version)
- Optional Garnish: Whipped Cream, Cherry, Cinnamon, or Cherry Syrup
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of your chosen tea and set aside to cool slightly.
- If using cherry juice, warm it gently in a saucepan. If using fresh cherries, pit and blend them into a puree, then heat slightly. Stir in vanilla extract and honey or sugar until dissolved.
- Add brewed tea to cherry mixture and stir well. Keep warm for hot latte or cool completely for iced version.
- Heat the milk until warm or chill it for iced latte. Froth the milk to desired texture.
- For hot latte, pour tea and cherry mixture into a mug, gently pour frothed milk on top. For iced version, fill glass with ice cubes, pour tea and cherry mix over ice, and top with chilled frothed milk. Garnish as desired.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute milk with almond, coconut, or oat milk. Experiment with spices or flavored teas for variations.
