- 1 package graham crackers
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 packages cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Prepare the graham crust by crushing graham crackers in a food processor and mixing with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold this into the cream cheese mixture gently.
- Layer the trifle by placing graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of the dish, followed by cheesecake filling, then cherry pie filling. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with graham crumbs and cherries on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider whole grain graham crackers. For a vegan version, substitute coconut cream and non-dairy cream cheese.
