Instructions
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Add the rolled oats and mix until evenly coated.
- Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the dish, pressing down firmly to create a cohesive texture.
- Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to allow the bars to set properly.
- Cut into bars, serve, and enjoy as a delicious snack!
