Indulge in the cozy flavors of fall with this Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, combining rich espresso, sweet apple, and creamy oat milk.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 tsp packed ground cinnamon)
  • ⅓ cup apple juice or apple juice concentrate
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 double-shot blonde espresso
  • 1-2 cups ice cubes
  • ½-1 cup barista blend oat milk

Instructions

  1. Make the Apple Syrup: Combine brown sugar, apple juice, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon sticks (or ground cinnamon) in a small saucepan and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Brew the Espresso: While the syrup cools, brew a double-shot of blonde espresso.
  3. Combine and Shake: In a cocktail shaker, mix the fresh espresso, 1-2 tablespoons of the syrup (to taste), and ice cubes. If desired, add the oat milk. Shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds until well combined. Pour into glasses over fresh ice and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust oat milk for creaminess and try nut milk for a twist. It’s best enjoyed fresh.
