- 2 cups Water
- 2 Green tea bags
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Lemon slices (for garnish) to taste
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish) to taste
- Ice cubes as needed
Instructions
- Begin by boiling the water in a pot. Make sure it’s at a rolling boil before adding the tea.
- Add the green tea bags and turmeric powder to the boiling water and steep for about 5 minutes.
- Once steeped, remove the tea bags and stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice and finish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish.
Notes
For a vegan-friendly option, substitute honey with maple syrup. You can also use caffeine-free green tea alternatives if desired.
