Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 Green tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish) to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish) to taste
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling the water in a pot. Make sure it’s at a rolling boil before adding the tea.
  2. Add the green tea bags and turmeric powder to the boiling water and steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Once steeped, remove the tea bags and stir in honey or maple syrup if desired.
  4. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over ice and finish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish.

Notes

For a vegan-friendly option, substitute honey with maple syrup. You can also use caffeine-free green tea alternatives if desired.
